It seems that little girls don’t stay little girls for long these days. TV, music, fashion and film help to speed the growing-up process and before we know it our girls are young women. Girls Uncovered examines some of the issues that parents face in raising their daughters in today’s culture. The discussions include contributions from a counsellor and psychotherapist, an A&E consultant, and a group of mum’s sharing their concerns and aspiration for their young daughters. Some of the material may be uncomfortable to hear; it may even be shocking. However it is our hope that these programmes will give parents the tools and the confidence to face these issues and discuss them with their daughters. Also Featured: the HOPE Story of a girl called Mary
