The central message to this radio is series is that although both husbands and wives need love and respect for one another, for marriages to thrive there is a need for more love from husbands and more respect from wives . If this is in play and properly understood, as there are many grounds for misunderstanding between couples, then you will experience God’s design for marriage, a strong and fruitful relationship with your spouse – over a lifetime.
Love and Respect is based upon the principle set out in Ephesians 5:33. There is a “crazy cycle” described by Dr. Emerson Eggerichs which is counterproductive. There is also an “energizing Cycle” which Dr. Eggerichs commends to us. By the end of this series, couples should have a better understanding of the issues which tear apart and build up their marriages. The outcome we trust will be stronger and healthier marriages.
