Like most Irish people we are passionate about the family. We are a charitable organisation, built on Christian principles, which supports, encourages and strengthens the family through education and resources.

Focus on the Family was founded in the U.S. in 1977 by psychologist and best-selling author Dr. James Dobson. With offices and partners around the world Focus on the Family is well placed to reach Irish families with support and help. Focus on the Family Ireland opened its doors in 2003.

Focus on the Family Ireland is a wholly Irish organisation run and staffed by Irish people but with the backup and support of Focus on the Family’s offices around the world. Focus on the Family Ireland is founded on, and guided by, Christian principles and values.

We aim to reach people at every stage of life from young children, through teens and young adults to parents and grandparents with timely advice, resources and programmes.
